Palm Print Chest of Drawers, in Black & Gold, with Walnut Woodgrain & Cabriole Legs
This stunning, luxurious, and one of a kind chest of drawers is now ready for a new home thanks to this upcycle and restoration process. You just don’t get items like this on the high street! This piece features stunning walnut woodgrain on the front of the drawers and across the top that we just had to keep. The woodgrain has been meticulously restored and brought back to life by stripping it back to bare wood, sanding it smooth, and finally adding professional products to make that woodgrain ‘pop’ and seal it for longevity. Black and gold painted elements also help to make the grain stand out, but also highlight the shape of the piece, outline and overall details of the drawers. A beautiful luscious palm print velvet in black and gold has been added to the sides, that’s always a favourite of our customers. It gives timeless elegance feel to the piece, and the velvet fabric really elevates the overall design by adding an additional layer of luxury. We love to use velvet on our pieces instead of wallpaper for this reason. The fabric is outlined in antique black studwork for a premium finish. We think you’ll agree all the elements compliment each other beautifully and the piece feels very decadent. The gorgeous vintage drawers give the perfect base to work from to help create such a unique item, along with those curved cabriole legs which we love and have painted gold to highlight. The inside has been left in its original wooden state, but cleaned and treated with professional product to rejuvenate the wooden insides and make them look and smell as good as new! There are 4 drawers which get bigger in size as they go from top to bottom, and are all outlined in gold to bring in the design from the outside. The hardware is the original hardware, and again is painted gold to match the design and help to make it feel more modern. The entire piece has been stripped, sanded smooth, thoroughly cleaned, painted, finished and sealed by hand and using professional products.

* This is a vintage piece of furniture that has been upcycled, it is not brand new. This means it may have some minor marks/ dents/ blemishes on it from age related wear and tear. It is part of the items character and history. I do pride myself on the finish I achieve when restoring an item so any marks should be very minor. Any antique glass or mirrors may have small scratches or a patina due to age again but nothing major. I do not accept refunds due to this nature.
