Dark Florals, Green & Gold Record Cabinet
This gorgeous, funky and unique record cabinet is one of a kind thanks to our bold new re-design. It provides the perfect place for all your vinyl storage inside, with also extra room on top for your home decor bits or perhaps even a place for your record player to sit. It’s functional and something gorgeous to look at, a statement piece of furniture for your home. This new design has transformed the item. It’s now completely painted all over in a dark teal green, with a luxurious premium velvet on the front showcasing a dark floral design. Gold painted elements help highlight the shape. The addition of new swanky hairpin legs and new modern hardware in gold give the item a much more up to date feel. We think you’ll agree that it all compliments each other beautifully. This item is now totally refreshed thanks to this upcycle and ready to be loved again!
Thanks to this upcycling transformation, this item has been saved from ending up in landfill and has been given a new lease of life. By choosing to buy upcycled furniture, you’re choosing to shop more sustainably too. Also, another plus is that antique items like this are so sturdy and well made that they generally out live flat-packed style furniture, so its a good investment too.
Item Details:
* Measurements: 91cm W, 80cm H, 43cm D
* The whole piece has been stripped, sanded, cleaned, painted, treated and sealed using professional products.
* The main body has been painted teal green with gold painted highlights to accentuate any details.
* The fabric on the front of the doors is a premium velvet, depicting a floral design. The 2 doors open outwards and seal with a magnet close.
* The studs that frame the fabric are gold, and marry with the fabric beautifully.
* The back/ bottom is painted plain black.
* The legs are new gold hairpin legs, that come with rubber stoppers to protect your floor and also give support and grip to the item.
* The hardware has also been updated with new gold handles.
* The inside is all for vinyl record storage, the dividers can be removed from the slots if needed. The inside has been left the original wood as it was in great condition, and has been treated and sealed.
* This is an antique piece of furniture that has been upcycled, it is not brand new. This means it may have some minor marks/ dents/ blemishes on it from age related wear and tear. It is part of the items character and history. I do pride myself on the finish I achieve when restoring an item so any marks should be very minor. Any antique glass or mirrors may have small scratches or a patina due to age again but nothing major. I do not accept refunds due to this nature.
