Velvet fabric appliquéd to the front and sides. Symmetrical pattern placement/ pattern matching throughout.
Studwork framing the fabric in brass antique finish.
The body is painted jet black which helps to modernise the overall look. The back is also plain black.
Gold leaf detailing on the legs, fading down in a crackle effect into the leg. A further distressed gold leaf effect on the ornate detail on top of the mirror to match.
Beautiful long cabriole legs.
The wooden inside and underneath has been restored and treated with a rejuvenating wax oil - all hard wearing.
The middle drawing has a gold hardwearing vinyl lining that is wipeable - perfect for a make up drawer!
Original antique brass ornate handles and hardware.
During the process the entire piece has been stripped, sanded smooth, thoroughly cleaned, painted, finished and sealed by hand and using professional products.

* This is a vintage piece of furniture that has been upcycled, it is not brand new. This means it may have some minor marks/ dents/ blemishes on it from age related wear and tear. It is part of the items character and history. I do pride myself on the finish I achieve when restoring an item so any marks should be very minor. Any antique glass or mirrors may have small scratches or a patina due to age again but nothing major. I do not accept refunds due to this nature.
