We also use velvet to embellish our pieces - not the usual wallpaper you see on the market, making this item extra extravagant with a luxury feel. The light shimmers off of the velvet and gives a really deep, rich tone to the bold colours in the fabric. It’s really showstopping and would make for a stand out piece of furniture in your home! This cabinet has been fully restored and revitalised from head to toe with love and passion to create a new design that brings a refreshed, modern touch mixed with some vintage charm. It has plenty of storage with 5 shelves and 1 drawer - it’s large and very sturdy! Key features such as this stunning VELVET fabric, that wraps the entire inside top section and doors. Also the floral brass ornate handles - a lovely touch to keep the theme running throughout. All refinished by hand with careful attention to detail and high quality finishing, it’s now ready to be loved for many more years to come! DETAILS:
• Measurements: Width cm, height cm, depth cm
• Velvet embellished fabric in floral print to the top inside section and bottom 2 doors. Symmetrical paint pattern matching throughout.
• The body and inside painted in blue with gold trims. Legs painted gold. All sealed with hard wearing varnish and wax.
• New brass gold handles added in 4 small circular pulls, plus 2 floral designs.
• Any wood restored and treated such as inside the drawer with a rejuvenating wax/ oil - all hard wearing.
• During the process the entire piece has been stripped, sanded smooth, thoroughly cleaned, painted, finished and sealed by hand and using professional products.
• Gold wallpaper lines the bottom inside shelves, coated with hard wearing varnish.
• Top glass section shelves are removable/ adjustable, the bottom section are not.
• The glass doors have a few minor surface scratches due to it being a vintage refinished item, but they are minor and not noticeable - I prefer to be transparent on this.
• 2 battery sensor lights added to top glass section that come on when dark with motion.
• This is a vintage piece of furniture that has been upcycled, it is not brand new. This means it may have some minor marks/ dents/ blemishes on it from age related wear and tear. It is part of the items character and history. I do pride myself on the finish I achieve when restoring an item so any marks should be minor. Any antique glass or mirrors may have small scratches or a patina due to age again but nothing major. I do not accept refunds due to this nature.
