We also use velvet fabric as you see here to embellish our pieces - not the usual wallpaper you see on the market - making this item feel extra extravagant, a luxury touch. The light shimmers off of the velvet and gives a deep, rich tone to the warm colours in this gorgeous bee, floral and pumpkin fabric - designed by British designer Becca Who. Such an eye catching print! We’ve also added copper metallic paint with an antique aged effect to highlight the beautiful ornate details and match the warm tones. A perfect new design for this vintage cabinet combining a curated mix of black, copper, gold, wood and pattern to make it feel special, along with its own vintage charm. The inside is lined with gorgeous gold vinyl, and copper highlights too, with a pop of fabric on the drawer. A glass top is added for extra durability on top. All professionally refinished by hand with careful attention to detail and high quality finishing throughout, it’s now ready to be loved for many more years to come! DETAILS:
• Measurements: Width cm, height cm, depth cm (at tallest and widest points)
• Velvet embellished fabric in floral print to the side and front sections with black antique studwork.
• The body and legs painted in black with copper ornate trims, with black aged antique effect. All sealed with hard wearing varnish and wax.
• Original ornate handles refinished in an antique copper and aged black effect.
• Veneer woodgrain on the top fully restored to show beautiful grain pattern with a glass topper.
• All woodwork inside restored and treated with a rejuvenating wax/ oil - all hard wearing.
• Gold vinyl lines the bottom inside sections, coated with hard wearing varnish.
• During the process the entire piece has been stripped, sanded smooth, thoroughly cleaned, painted, finished and sealed by hand and using professional products.
• This is a vintage piece of furniture that has been upcycled, it is not brand new. This means it may have some minor marks/ dents/ blemishes on it from age related wear and tear. It is part of the items character and history. I do pride myself on the finish I achieve when restoring an item so any marks should be minor. Any antique glass or mirrors may have small scratches or a patina due to age again but nothing major. I do not accept refunds due to this nature.
