Art Deco Cabinet in Green & Gold with Stunning Woodgrain, Arched Top and Cabriole Legs
Keeping the stunning woodgrain centre stage on this cabinet and highlighting the beautiful curved shape was our key focus, whilst also bringing it all back to life again. To do that we have painted the bottom half a rich dark green colour, with gold accents to frame the edges. This combination not only compliments the woodgrain it also makes it stand out more, and the colours help the item feel modern again. The wood left on show has been stripped of its old discoloured varnish, sanded to a buttery smooth finish, then oiled to bring out all the colours and patterns within the grain. All of this is using professional products and skilled craftsmanship to produce a high standard finish. The curved top makes this cabinet extra special, it’s so unique - I haven’t seen another like it for quite some time. It has gorgeous cabriole legs, painted a pale gold to highlight the details. The shape of this cabinet alone is so beautiful, it has a real art deco feel. New hardware has been applied which also helps to make the piece feel more up to date too. Not only is it stunning to look at, but it also provides the perfect storage inside with 2 shelves inside the top half, and 3 drawers below.

* Measurements: 131cm H, 55cm D, 88cm W
* The whole piece has been stripped, sanded, cleaned, painted, treated and sealed using professional products.
* The original woodgrain has been left on show and has been stripped, repaired and sealed with replenishing and hard wearing wax/ oil.
* The main body is painted in dark green/ grey in a satin finish
* The inside is left in its original wooden condition as it was in great condition, we have treated it all with a replenishing wax
* The back is painted plain black with hallmarks left on show
* The legs are painted gold to compliment the design, and the trim also has a touch of gold
* The hardware has also been updated with a new gold teardrop handle on the cupboard, and gold knobs on the drawers
* This is an antique piece of furniture that has been upcycled, it is not brand new. This means it may have some minor marks/ dents/ blemishes on it from age related wear and tear. It is part of the items character and history. I do pride myself on the finish I achieve when restoring an item so any marks should be very minor. Any antique glass or mirrors may have small scratches or a patina due to age again but nothing major. I do not accept refunds due to this nature.
