To give an extra layer of luxury we’ve used velvet fabric to embellish this piece - bringing further texture, depth and richness to the finish. DETAILS:
• Measurements: 94cm W, 100cm H, 44cm D (at tallest and widest points)
• Embellished in velvet printed fabric by British designer Becca Who. This gorgeous design ‘Bee dance’ features bees, florals, berries and pumpkins in an eye catching bold repeat pattern.
• Black antique hammered studwork frames the fabric.
• High pigment copper metallic paint applied to ornate trims, with a hand painted aged black effect to highlight details.
• Body/ legs painted in professional furniture satin paint in jet black, sealed with hard wearing varnish, buffed out with wax for buttery smooth finish.
• Original ornate handles sprayed in copper paint and a black antique aged effect added by hand.
• Veneer woodgrain on top is fully restored to show off the beautiful grain, with professional hard wearing and rejuvenating wood oil. A glass topper added for extra durability in good vintage condition.
• All the woodwork inside is also restored to the same standard.
• Inside metallic gold premium textured vinyl lines the bottoms, coated with hard wearing varnish.
• A pop of the same fabric applied on the inside drawer to marry the design inside.
• Original antique mirror on the back of the inside is in good vintage condition.
• During the process the entire piece has been fully stripped of old finishes, sanded smooth, thoroughly cleaned, painted, finished, buffed and sealed - all by hand and using professional products.
* NOTE: * (This is a vintage piece of furniture that has been upcycled, it is not brand new. This means it may have some minor marks/ dents/ blemishes on it from age related wear and tear. It is part of the items character and history. However we pride the finish we achieve when restoring items so any marks should be minor. Antique glass or mirrors may have small scratches or a patina due to age again but nothing major. I do not accept refunds due to this nature.)
